History

2020 - What a year. Like so many people experiencing the pandemic with lots of extra hours spent at home, I decided to learn how to make sourdough bread. I mean... how hard could it be, right? What I found was that just making the sourdough starter was time consuming, messy, and easy to get wrong. Over the course of four weeks, I failed at it three times. When I finally got it somewhat right, I had this nasty science experiment living in my fridge that always seemed to be hungry. In short, the process wasn't much fun for me. But I absolutely love the smell, taste, warmth and overall vibe of home baked sourdough. Thus began my quest to try to find a way to heal the pain of making delicious sourdough loaves at home. After months of research, experimenting, and yes....many failures: Eureka! I've put together a bread mix -- including a no-fuss, no-mess starter solution -- that can be easily prepared and baked at home. And now I'm happy to be able to share it with you.
