In 1954, the Humane Society of Chaffee Community was formed by a group of local residents and later in 1994 became the West End Shelter for Animals - a no kill, non-profit organization, which we refer to today as a pet placement and adoption center.

I adopted my cat a little over a week ago and he is sweet and loving. The shelter stalls for the animals are well maintained and cats are allowed to roam outdoors almost freely. With that said...

Thank you west end animal shelter we just adopted the sweetest handsome Boy kitty today staff was extremely nice I love the open concept for the kitty's thank you! Hank is enjoying his new home!

would give zero stars if i could. someone left a cat at a grocery store and I sat with her for five hours and called the shelter for them to say they couldn't take adults cats. if that's the case,...

Great, 8 yrs. ago I adopted Cuddles there, or rather she adopted me. Very amazing people working there, doing the tasks of twenty and there was only three on my last visit. Definitely support them.
