Katy Ankenman is a licensed clinical social worker specializing in diagnosing and assessing autism spectrum disorder (ASD) in children, as well as providing short-term psychotherapy to children and adults with depression, anxiety, and related disorders. With a focus on genetic heterogeneity of ASD and evidence-based treatment, Ankenman's expertise extends to community and vocational support for adults with ASD. Having conducted research on the genetics of ASD and interviewed families across the United States, Ankenman brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to her practice. With a master's degree in social work from the University at Albany State University of New York, she is a member of the National Association of Social Workers and International Society for Autism Research.Generated from the website
