History

A true family business, Jen and Kevin were married just before opening their little cafe on Stockton Avenue. They opened to share with the Bay Area the unique cafe Suisse style coffee, delicious pastries and fresh bagels. Espresso and coffee drinks are all organic -- making for the best latte around. The finest ingredients: Clover Organic Milk, Numi Organic Tea and locally roasted Lappert's Coffee -- a special formulation designed just for their machines. Well Grounded uses fresh ingredients -- every day. The delicious Bocadillos and grilled Panini sandwiches delight the palate -- try the Turkey Pesto Panini made with house-made pesto or the Jacob's favorite, a bagel slathered with house-made hummus, topped with farmer's market tomatoes and cucumber. Well Grounded is always fresh and organic -- each cup of coffee is ground and brewed fresh, leaving you to enjoy the aromatic crema on top! Also features Semifreddi's pastries, sandwiches made on fresh Boogie Woogie Bagels (authentic New York style-boiled! not steamed), Spanish-style Bocadillos and salads.
