Weingarten Children's Center

Established in 1967, Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf is a nonprofit academic institution. It offers a range of learning opportunities to students with hearing impairments. The school provides a speech and language therapy, as well as listening skills development services to children and their families. Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf maintains a staff of teachers, pathologists, occupational therapists and clinical psychologists. It offers a children s program that hosts various therapy sessions. The school also offers audiology and assessment services. Jean Weingarten Peninsula Oral School for the Deaf organizes picnics, talent shows, golf tournaments and fundraising events. It is accredited by the California Department of Special Education. Located in Redwood City, Calif., the school is a part of the Oberkotter Foundation.
