History

Founded by iconic Los Angeles artist David Weidman and his brother Ralph to showcase David's now famous original serigraphs. As his popularity gained momentum with a large designer and entertainment industry base, it wasn't long before the gallery expanded into custom picture framing as they saw the need for quality design and workmanship, so the transition into the framing business was a natural one. Eventually, the framing became so predominant, that David stopped making prints in the late 1970's and started offering other works on paper to showcase our framing diversity. Since then, our reputation as one of the foremost framers in the area quickly spread by word of mouth forming a large and loyal client base. In 1990 the gallery expanded on its inventory of posters to include vintage advertising and film and now houses L. A.'s largest selections of vintage advertising.
