Wayside Elementary School

Located in Bakersfield, Calif., Wayside School serves students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The school offers a range of subjects, including math, reading, writing, science and social studies. In addition, Wayside School conducts classes in arts, music, physical education and technology. The school offers a variety of before- and after-school child care and enrichment activities, including a student council and accelerated reader programs. It also provides child care services during the summer months. Wayside School offers free and tuition-based preschool programs and options for full-day kindergarten students. The school also provides tuition-based foreign language programs, drama and enrichment classes. Wayside School is a part of the Bakersfield City School District.
