Central Avenue Pharmacy

Central Avenue Pharmacy, also known as CAPRx, is a pharmacy that prepares individualized medications for physicians and patients. CAPRx specializes in pharmaceutical compounding. This involves compounding an eye drop in a sterile compounding laboratory, preparing a medication in a variety of dosage forms and flavors, providing natural alternatives in hormone replacement therapy, and assisting physicians in treating hospice patients. The pharmacy has been inspected and licensed by the California State Board of Pharmacy to compound sterile injectable products. CAPRx has a state-of-the-art laboratory that includes Class 1000 certified clean room with a laminar flow hood used for aseptic compounding. The pharmacy is headquartered in Pacific Grove, Calif.
