Twentynine Palms Water District is a public agency serving residents of Twentynine Palms and areas of unincorporated San Bernardino County. The district is independent of all city and county governments. It maintains approximately 7,700 meter services, 200 miles of pipeline and 17 million gallons of water storage capacity. The District serves a population of approximately 17,000 residents within an 87 square mile area. Its Fire Department provides an array of services, such as structure fire/wildland fire suppression, vehicle accidents, medical aid, etc.
