Washington United Youth Center offers a range of recreational and support services. It serves youths between the ages of 12 and 17, as well as provides support solutions for parents and adults. The center s facilities include a gymnasium, multipurpose room, classroom, and counseling, conference, game and boxing rooms. It organizes a variety of sports activities, such as soccer, volleyball, football, handball and basketball. The center conducts various cultural programs and events. It also offers individual and family support solutions. The center provides structured after-school, art and dance programs, as well as maintains a computer laboratory. In addition, it offers counseling, information and referral services to low income groups. Washington United Youth Center is a part of the Catholic Charities of Santa Clara County, which is a nonprofit social service agency.
