Ward's Wonderyears was established in the spring of 1997 after our second daughter was born. I had a strong desire to work from home and become a professional while being able to care for my children at the same time.
Specialties
Ward's Wonderyears is a large licensed family child care that offers a preschool program M-Th (September-May) with relaxed days on Friday for messy art or other special activities. We offer healthy meals and snacks along with structured physical activities and gardening/nutrition education. We have completed specialized training through CDE, Sacramento County office of education, First Five of CA, PITC (infant and toddler training). We offer a relaxed but structured environment, where materials are carefully selected for the classroom and offer children the opportunity to learn through play. Our indoor and outdoor classroom is structured for children around 12/18mo-5years of age or preK.
