Walnut Elementary School is a learning center that is governed by the Conejo Valley Unified School District. It is a California Distinguished School that serves more than 380 students in kindergarten through grade five. The school provides general academic and Title I programs. Its curriculum includes language arts, math, science and social studies. Walnut Elementary School supports classes in computer education and visual and performing arts. The school also conducts character education sessions. It operates a parent-teacher association that supports educational and playground equipment purchases.
