Walnut City Police Department

The City of Pomona Police Department, located in Pomona, Calif., offers law enforcement services that preserves and protects lives and property; enforces city, county, state and federal statutes, ordinances and laws; investigates criminal activities; apprehends criminals; and recovers stolen property. It also provides programs to educate the public in crime prevention and processes all parking citations. The police department has a crime prevention unit that educates the public about crime prevention through meetings, as well as encourages and assists community members to form neighborhood and business watch groups. The City of Pomona Police Department supports the community emergency response team program that responds to and assists the community and local first responders with emergencies, disasters or incidents that require additional assistance.
