History
Nicole Cooper began teaching voice lessons to beginning singers age 12 and up in 2008. Her goal is to help singers build confidence by improving breath control, tone quality, and musicianship skills. Improving vocal technique will allow students to fully express themselves through music and develop their individual sound. Her students have performed with theater groups throughout the Bay Area and have been accepted into elite performance ensembles such as San Jose Children's Musical Theatre and Starting Arts Dream Team. Students from Nicole's studio have been accepted to Berklee College of Music, University of Southern California, U.C. San Diego, and Boston University.
Specialties
Lessons focus on singing technique and will also include the following based on the needs of each singer: - Basic sight reading - Music theory - Ear training - and Lyric diction.
