Vista Hermosa Natural Park is a 105-acre urban natural park located at the western gateway to Downtown Los Angeles, developed by the Mountains Recreation and Conservation Authority (MRCA). This park serves as a serene retreat for residents, featuring walking trails, streams, meadows, picnic grounds, and a nature-themed playground amidst native Mediterranean vegetation.
In collaboration with the Los Angeles Unified School District and the City of Los Angeles, Vista Hermosa offers an outdoor amphitheater for environmental education and public events, as well as an AFIFA regulations soccer field shared with the adjacent Edward R. Roybal Learning Center. The park also hosts interpretive programs led by Community Nature Connection naturalists, including a free bus program to the Santa Monica Mountains.
