History

Viet Tribune (VT), founded in 2005, is a Vietnamese weekly serving the second largest overseas Vietnamese community located in San Jose and around the South Bay areas. Led by editor Nguyen Xuan Hoang, formerly with Nguoi Viet Daily and Viet Merc, VT's editorial team has some of the best overseas Vietnamese writers. VT covers a wide range of topics including community news, arts and cultures, sports and entertainment, health, education, house and garden, fashion, and life style. The newspaper, which has a weekly circulation of 20,000 copies, also produces content aiming at Vietnamese youths and seniors. A companion to its print is VT's website (viettribune.com) which reaches the Vietnamese diasporas throughout the U.S. and around the world.
