Precious Life Shelter is an emergency, transitional and single parent efficiency program that provides a safe environment for an expectant women that have no place to live. The women may be facing an immediate financial, physical or emotional crisis that threatens them with a loss of housing, food, and necessities for daily living. Precious Life Shelter offers a three phase program for the pregnant woman, 18 years or older, that has decided to have her child and needs a place to stay. The shelter is a drug and alcohol free program, with random screening, but is not a drug and alcohol rehab facility. Our program will help her realize that both her life and that of her baby are precious. Precious Life Shelter is located in Los Alamitos, Calif., conveniently located next to hospitals, doctors, churches, shopping centers, bus lines, and the 405 and 605 Freeways.
