South Asians (people from India, Pakistan, Bangladesh, Nepal, Bhutan, Maldives, and Sri Lanka) have a higher risk of heart and vascular disease than any other ethnic group. Our treatment and research center helps South Asians better understand their risk factors and develops targeted treatment plans for each patient.

Dr. Lee is the chief of vascular surgery for Stanford Medicine. He is a fellowship-trained, board-certified vascular surgeon and a world-renowned leader in the field. He has a strong “patient first” philosophy of care. For every case, he emphasizes the most advanced, minimally invasive diagnostic and treatment approaches. He works closely with a multidisciplinary team of specialists to ensure that each care plan is personalized, precise, compassionate, and comprehensive. Dr. Lee also is passionate about educating and mentoring tomorrow’s vascular surgeons. He is a professor of surgery at Stanford University School of Medicine.

The mission of the VIP Fibroid center is to help women treat the fibroids that have been adversely impacting their quality of life using non-surgical minimally invasive procedures that will also avoid unnecessary surgeries, hospital stays, and complications. The center is staffed by professionals who are both friendly and highly trained, meaning that patients are always welcomed with a smile that is willing and able to answer any and all questions that patients might have. The facilities present a modern atmosphere with an open office, creating an atmosphere that is closer in similarity to a spa than a typical hospital.
