History

Venissimo opened its first shop in Mission Hills, California, in 2004. Since then we have opened neighborhood cheese shops with all the best cheese from all over the world in Del Mar, North Park, Liberty Station & downtown San Diego.

Specialties

Venissimo shares all the best cheese from all over the world, plus all the scrumptious accoutrements that go with it (charcuterie, bread, crackers, olives, honey, chocolate & more). We also have scrumptious party trays, sandwiches, grilled panini, cheese boards, a Cheese Lovers Club & more. You can dine in with a glass of wine or beer, or takeaway. We host oodles of cheese classes in Del Mar through our Academy of Cheese (AoC). Our Del Mar neighborhood cheese shop is in the Flower Hill Promenade at I5 & Via de la Valle. We are located on the lower level of the west end. Ample shopping center parking is available. Join us the third Thursday of every month from 3-6p for our cheese feast happy hour: all you can eat cheese and accoutrements PLUS a glass of wine for just $30 per person! Visit us at any one of our four neighborhood cheese shops in downtown Mission Hills, Del Mar, North Park & Liberty Station. We also ship nationwide.
