History

Gerry and Ray met in the late 50's while serving in the United States Air Force. Gerry, among many talents, served his time in the postal department while Ray expanded his mechanical knowledge as jet technician. Their story had seemed to be a short one after discharging from the service and losing contact in 1962. But come one morning during the summer of 1965, after kids and careers had taken place, Gerry came knocking on Ray's door in Burbank, California. Reunited as friends the two began their hobbies of fixing and repairing cars in a rented garage. Talk about the perfect team - Ray's remarkable paint and body work combined with Gerry's technical knowledge birthed what we know now as VeeParts & Accessories. 1978 was a memorable year for the two families - the very first VeeParts & Accessories opened in Santa Ana, California.
