The Vaughn Next Century Learning Center, a part of the Los Angeles Unified School District, is a public school that offers a range of academic programs and services for students. As a Blue Ribbon School, it enrolls more than 1,900 students in pre-kindergarten through grade 12. The full-service school provides classes in social studies, math, art, health education and science. The Vaughn Next Century Learning Center also offers extracurricular activities in piano, band and orchestra. As a California Distinguished School, it provides special education programs for gifted and talented students. The school conducts book fairs and parent-teacher conferences. The Vaughn Next Century Learning Center is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges.
