Offering everything from private surf lessons to summer surf camps, corporate team building or big wave coaching, we provide an all around awesome ocean experience. VCSS owner and surf legend, Van Curaza, has created a highly successful method to teach any age, any ability and anyone to surf. His extensive knowledge of surfing comes from competing professionally, surfing around the world, conquering BIG waves and and teaching surfing for 30+ years. There are no limits to where VCSS can take you, from beginners to advanced coaching, from knee high waves to jet ski tow in, VCSS has something for everyone. VCSS summer camps have a variety of fun and educational activities in Avila Beach. From exploring hidden caves only accessible by epic paddling adventures to learning about and seeing up close our local sea life, surf camps open up a whole new world to kids. Exploring tide pools and jumping off a reef into the beautiful big blue are all part of the great camp experience. It's all about Surfing, Safety and FUN! With top of the line surf instruction, kids leave camp with the ability and knowledge to safely surf and practice their new skills on their own.
