Valley Mountain Regional Center

Valley Mountain Regional Center is a nonprofit organization providing diagnostic, evaluation and case management services for children and adults with developmental disabilities. It provides services to persons suffering from mental retardation, cerebral palsy, epilepsy and autism. It also offers early intervention services for infants and toddlers. Additionally, it offers genetic counseling and prenatal diagnosis to women at risk of giving birth to a child with developmental disability. It also offers community-based programs, such as advocacy, early intensive behavioral treatment programs, behavior intervention and early start programs. It also offers clinical services in various areas, including developmental screening, feeding, gait, genetics, psychiatry and occupational and physical therapies. It also offers independent and supported living services, medical review, skilled nursing, residential facilities for elderly people, state developmental centers, and vocational training and employment programs. Located in Stockton, it also has offices in San Andreas and Modesto, Calif.
