Children's Hospital Central California is one of the largest, nonprofit children hospitals in the United States. It is a 330-plus-bed facility that works with a team of more than 450 staff members. The hospital practices in the areas of anesthesiology, audiology, cardiology, catheterization laboratory, endocrinology, gastroenterology, hematology, neuropsychology, neurosurgery, oncology, radiology and rheumatology. Children's Hospital Central California also provides services in the fields of ophthalmology, otolaryngology, pathology, physiatry, psychology and pulmonology. It also offers treatment and management solutions for diabetes and endocrine disorders. The hospital also treats children, infants and adolescents with endocrine disorders. Children's Hospital Central California provides fitness testing services for cardiopulmonary patients. It operates the Charlie Mitchell Children's Center. The hospital is accredited by The Joint Commission.
