Vallejo Flood & Wastewater District

The Vallejo Sanitation and Flood Control District is an independent special organization created by the state of California to collect and treat wastewater and protect community from flooding. Operational since 1952, the district protects the public health of more than 115,000 residents. It consists of administration, operations, environmental, engineering and risk management departments. The Vallejo Sanitation & Flood Control District offers information about the publication and posting of meeting notices, bid openings and public hearings. It designs sewage collection and storm drain systems and maintains the records of public facilities. The department provides development planning, review and approval solutions. It also offers repair, maintenance, overhaul, modification, installation and construction services for complex systems.
