While the name Valentino is fairly recent, we were previously named Goldpost since 1980. The owner, Mark Singerman did goldsmithing for the previous owner of the Goldpost in the 1980's and in 1990 took over the business as his own. Mark comes from 3 generations of hand engravers, designers and goldsmiths. He does all of his own work on the premisis of Valentino. The shop is clean, organized and stocked with the latest in tool technology. This allows him to do jobs that others without the same technology would not be able to do. His laser welder can tackle from the most basic repair of costume jewelry to platinum fabrication welding. His microscopes allow him to see fine detail that the human eye simply cannot detect and the kiln he uses has a very high tech computer that burns out his flasks precisely for perfect castings.
