My wife Debbie and myself opened Frank's Carpet in Alturas in 1980. We were a branch of my father's store in Klamath Falls Oregon, and in those days, we were a very small floor covering retail store. We attended Armstrong, Pergo, Mannington and various other schools to bring knowledge and experience to our customers in Modoc, Klamath, Lake and Lassen Counties. Our staff provides over 100 years in flooring experience.Our business has grown considerably since then. In 1986 we purchased the Alhambra Theater, our current location. Since 1995 we have ventured into total Home and Office Furnishings. After adding three more warehouses and showrooms, we've grown to be one of the largest retail stores in Modoc County. We strive each year to bring the latest styles, quality, and low prices in floor covering and furnishings to Northern California and Southern Oregon.
