Established in 1947, the URJ Camp Newman is one of the largest reform camps in West Coast, serving over 1,400 campers each summer. It draws from over 80 congregations in California, Arizona, Nevada, New Mexico, Hawaii and El Paso. The camp also offers full sports program, an intricate Arts program, which includes both visual and performing arts and adventure program. URJ Camp Newman offers its campers, ranging in age from 7 to 17. Some of the programs that the camp offers are Hagigah, Hevrah, Avodah and Counselor in Training.
