HistoryRachel Lao is a Licensed Massage Therapist and Esthetician with a decade's experience in one of the world's most-demanding luxury hotels: the Four Seasons Silicon Valley. Joining the hotel as part of its opening team, Rachel quickly became the lead therapist at the Spa - training all other therapists as well as treating an ever-lengthening roster of clients. Her Elemis esthetic training, as well as extensive study of body work techniques including Shiatsu and Thai Massage, offered clear results: most clients became regulars. But Rachel soon learned that current spa trends tend towards immediate relief and often overlook long-term care. She wants to help her clients feel and look good - permanently. She believes education can be curative and that spa results, well-shared and explained, can become ongoing - a lifestyle choice. Rachel is passionate about transformative change and has been since moving to from Macau to New York City at 16.
