United Food & Commercial Workers Union

Established in 1979, the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union serves more than 1 million workers in the retail, packing, poultry and manufacturing industries. It covers over 950 local unions in the United States, Canada and in Puerto Rico. The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union supports the Capital Stewardship Program, as well as operate communications and collective bargaining departments. The union also has civil rights, negotiated benefits, legal, strategic resources, international and foreign affairs departments. It represents nearly 350,000 workers in the food processing, chemical and garment sectors. The United Food and Commercial Workers International Union provides research and analysis services.
