History

U Help You was established by Melissa Dumaz, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and a Best-Selling Author. She is a prominent, well respected professional within the mental health community. Melissa received her Bachelor's Degree in Psychology from University of La Verne and she completed her Master's Degree in MFT at CSU Long Beach. U Help You was developed in 2010, however Melissa has over 15 years of experience in the mental health field. She is a compassionate therapist with years of experience providing psychotherapy with individuals (adults, teens, & children), couples, families, and other therapists. She is a Clinical Member of California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists. She believes that change is inevitable. She holds strong to the human capacity to heal and grow. Melissa identifies an individual search for a therapist as the first step to helping yourself. She would like to assist you in achieving a more productive and satisfying life.
