History

This first-of-it's-kind boutique has recently opened it's doors for business Nov.7th, 2009. Owner/partner Karen Quimby owned and operated Ambiance, a still successful boutique in San Francisco, back in the 80's and dove back into the boutique business after a 15 year career in the cosmetics industry. She created and developed beauty products for brands like Urban Decay, Smashbox, DuWop, Lola and most recently Marula. Her partner Billie Gentry joined her, stepping away from a long and successful career in advertising, managing some of the largest media budgets for the worlds leading car makers and hotels. The two came together to develop a business that would bring them closer to a community they love. With a keen eye for aesthetics & fashion and a sharp mind for business, this partnership is unstoppable. In four short weeks twig & willow has already made it's name in this charming neighborhood of Belmont Heights, CA.
