History
This isn't Farmer Roger Thomas' first market but it is the one he loves the most since it is in his hometown of Twentynine Palms, CA. After years of coordinating events, he discovered putting together a community farmers market is the most satisfying work. Anyone can grow, sell or throw an event together that makes money but providing quality, honest, healthful foods and activities is somewhat harder. Thomas constantly strives for that with his farm and his farmers markets. Integrity and addressing inequity of access to healthy food has always been the most important aspect of a farmers market; Thomas says he wants to give consumers the opportunity to know what is in their food and where it comes from and not simply what the lobbyist or big ag tell us to believe.
Specialties
Featuring fresh produce, fruit, honey, eggs from the Inland Empire. Drinks, hot foods and artisans. This market is a family affair, Thomas Farms is dedicated to bringing the community nutritious foods from local farmers. We appreciate our vendors and all they do to ensure freshness and quality. You will always know where our food comes from and how it gets to our market. We look forward to getting to know our customers and serving you delicious food.

I love the shrimp ceviche and tamales from here so make sure you stop at that stand. Then make your way to get some honey sticks to snack on while you make your way to the Italian/Mediterranean...
I prefer this farmer's market over Joshua Tree. The 29 Palms market has a cute little trailer coffee shop, which I recommend visiting first. If not, you have to try the freshly squeezed lemonade;...
Great selection of produce, especially fruit. Increasing choices of food to eat there is likewise impressive. It's my go-to farmers's market.
It's the only place I know of in 29 palms were you can support local farmers and get good groceries
