HistoryWe created iamwell after living through our own life experiences. For 10 years I lived with an eating disorder and body image disorder. It was hard for me to find help and there was not a lot of awareness at that time. Eating disorders and body image disorders were a very private, hush-hush thing and I didn't know how to open up about it. Through my recovery I learned a lot about negative effects from the media, negative thoughts and how they can harm you and a lot of other valuable knowledge. I also learned that many other people suffer from these disorders as well. I started to think about how we can put an end to these disorders and prevent them. I have been a part of the health and fitness industry for many years now and 2 years after my recovery I began to change my approach. I now believe in focusing on balance, wellness, healthy nutrition, physical activity and self love. I hope to reach out to teens and teach them about self worth and confidence. I want to inspire peopleSpecialtiesIt is our goal to help women find confidence through self acceptance and healthy lifestyle changes. We will always strive to spread knowledge of wellness, nutrition, physical activity, and positive self image to women of all ages. We want to inform woman how to create and maintain healthy lifestyle habits through their mind, body, and soul. We believe for a full lifestyle transformation we must work on all aspects of our life, not just physical. The key to lasting success comes from within and it is iamwell's goal to help all woman find that.
