It offers a sanitation program that has been recognized by the Food and Drug Administration. DFA of California maintains a well-equipped laboratory that has the capability to perform pesticide, food additive, microbiological, filth and mycotoxin analysis. It manufactures and distributes moisture analyzers for dried fruit and kindred products. DFA of California has a fully staffed sanitation department that provides counseling services to the operating personnel.
