Tumbleweed Day Camp is located on more than 100 acres of the Santa Monica Mountains, just minutes from the Brentwood section of Los Angeles. Tumbleweed Day Camp offers a summer camp program for kids and uniquely designed day camps for younger children, Tumbleweed provides a safe and challenging day camp environment with a variety of programs and dozens of active and creative activities including swimming, horseback riding, rock climbing, arts and crafts and nature study. Tumbleweed, established 1954, programs have been providing children with a fun, safe and challenging day camp experience for more than 50 years. Mature counselors and specialists work with experienced program directors to ensure a diverse and high quality program for campers of all ages. Bus transportation is included in the tuition. Tumbleweed also offers beach camp programs and Winter Camp.

Camp Ramah in California

Established in 1956, Camp Ramah provides a variety of recreational activities for campers, staff and program participants from throughout the United States and the world. It is accredited by the American Camping Association and affiliated with the National Ramah Commission. The camp manages a staff of more than 200 employees. It conducts summer and winter camps and offers swimming and lifeguard training classes. The camp provides several sports activities, such as basketball, soccer, tennis and volleyball. It also offers video production, photography and journalism classes. The camp provides a range of adventurous activities, including hiking and biking. Camp Ramah also serves children with special needs. The camp operates under the educational auspices of the Ziegler School of Rabbinic Studies at American Jewish University.
