He completed his undergraduate studies at California State University-Sacramento, where he graduated with a Bachelor of Science - BS, Biochemistry. He attended medical school at California School of Podiatric Medicine at Samuel Merritt University, serving as class president and student board member for both the American Public Health Association (APHA) and the American Association for Women Podiatrists (AAWP), and earned a Doctorate of Podiatric Medicine in 2019.
