I love this swim. It was the first open water race I did back in 2005 (!) and I have come back for more each year since. The swim is unique, deceiving with its straight shot along side the Bay...

This is the big annual open water swim sponsored by the Embarcadero YMCA. It was; - Beautiful. Best time of the year to swim the bay. - Horrendously hard -- the currents are not predictable,...
