History

Jonathan Eliel Bortnik LAc is a California Licensed Acupuncturist and massage therapist who was born and raised in Buenos Aires, Argentina. As an undergrad, he studied Biology and Psychology and moved to San Francisco to pursue a degree in traditional Chinese medicine. He received his Master of Science degree in Oriental Medicine from the American College of Traditional Chinese Medicine in 2014. After graduation, he interned at Zhejiang University in Hangzhou, China learning from leading physicians in Dermatology, Gynecology, and Orthopedics. He apprenticed for 3 years under world-renowned fertility expert Dr. Lifang Liang OMD Ph.D., LAc. Jonathan brings his background in Psychology and Therapy to each treatment, catering to patient's mental as well as physical wellbeing. As an athlete, Jonathan understands the importance of staying active and living a well-balanced life. In his free time, he enjoys playing Futbol, Tennis, Skiing, and rock climbing.
