History
Nature versus nurture, Executive Function is a set of dynamic skills that set the stage for effective or ineffective independent action and self-management in adulthood. It is the last thing to develop in our formative to early adult emotionally turbulent years and very much affected by our environment. Educationally it is only addressed as a task...school supplies, homework and syllabus. In the home as a mandate or not at all. And yet it drives and determines the quality of life we can create. Organization to planning and managing our time, problem solving to self regulation...how well we have developed this executive function will define our ability to achieve goals and overcome obstacles. Performing scholastic remediation for over 4 years and coaching leadership work ethics for over 10 years our experience is.... the fundamental component of any personal progress and improvement is how well developed our ability is to self manage.
