TABC was established as a Toyota company in 1974. It is a manufacturer and assembler of Toyota branded vehicles. TABC employs more than 500 employees at its Long Beach, Calif., facility that assemble Toyota Tacoma truck beds; steering columns and stamped parts; catalytic converters; coated substrates; after-market truck bed components; and stamped parts for the Toyota Corolla, Matrix and Pontiac Vibe. TABC is based on a 30-acre plot with a 430,700-square-foot manufacturing facility. The company s capabilities also include assembly of commercial panel trucks and four-cylinder engines. TABC, a subsidiary of Japan-based Toyota, ships its products primarily to other Toyota facilities in the United States, as well as Venezuela, Japan and Canada.
