In 1974, K.G. Walters Construction was a new start-up company, doing jobs in the $20,000 to $500,000 range. By 2001, the company was firmly established and doing construction projects in the $500,000 to $17 million range. K.G. Walters Construction specializes in the construction of waste and wastewater treatment plants. The company builds several types of plants, including UV disinfection, tertiary treatment, deep pump stations, ozone, membrane filtration and intake structures and pipes. Since 1974, K.G. Walters Construction has completed more than 150 construction projects. The company received the Contractor of the Year award in 2001 and 2002 from the Nevada chapter of the Associated General Contractors of America.
