Tilly's

Tilly s began in 1982 when it opened its first store in Los Alamitos, Calif. The company was originally known as World of Jeans and Tops during an era when warehouses were opening doors to sell to the public. In 1987, Tilly s opened its fourth store in Huntington Beach, Calif. and became known as Tilly's. The company operates stores throughout California, Nevada and Arizona. Tilly's carries surfwear, skatewear, motocross and other active lifestyle clothing. It delivers some of the widest-branded assortments of apparel, shoes and accessories with popular brands such as Volcom, Hurley, Roxy, Quiksilver, Billabong, Split, Skin, Etnies, Dickies and Famous Stars and Straps. Tilly s is a privately owned company that has a store located in Irvine, Calif., where it employs nearly 10 people.
