History

Tilde Oakland opened in 2014, the sister shop to Naming Gallery (est., 2012) - Located on the same street, in the heart of Downtown Oakland. With over 10 years experience curating art and textiles, it finally became vital enough to open Tilde Oakland in the neighborhood where we live. We put that 10 years experience into a built and curated shopping experience. Examples of sections you will find at Tilde Oakland include: boho, urban, prep, holiday - Expect to find a loose fit, fibers that are natural, and ethics around up-cycling and preserving 80's and 90's designs and collections. We also rent our wardrobes for sets, music videos, film, and stylists.
