Thurgood Marshall Middle School, located in the Scripps Ranch area of San Diego, California, was inaugurated on August 31, 1998, and named after the first African American Supreme Court Justice. The school attained the distinction of a California Distinguished School in 2003, reflecting its commitment to high educational standards.

In 2007, Marshall Middle School moved to a new campus on property purchased from Alliant International University, currently accommodating over 1,500 students in grades 6-8. This school sucks. It has terrible cafeteria food. Mean teachers. Teachers don't notice anything at all. THEY TEACH US THE DUMBEST THINGS IN PE. Maybe teach us how to do actual sports in PE...
