Think Play Learn Preschool and Daycare

History

I began my in home daycare summer of 2018. Yes, I am fairly new in the daycare world. However, I am a credentialed bilingual elementary school teacher. I worked for the San Diego Unified School District for 12 years, 10 of those teaching first grade. I received my BA in Liberal Studies in 2005 and my Masters Degree in Education and Curriculum in 2010. In 2017, after the birth of my third child, I decided to be a stay at home mom. The problem was that teaching has always been my passion. Missing being in the classroom, but loving being home supporting my daughter with her developmental stages sparked the idea of starting my own preschool and daycare. I am now extremely happy seeing my daughter and other children flourish by playing and learning together.

Specialties

Our preschool and daycare focuses on supporting children with social-emotional skills as well as the basic academic skills needed to be successful in kindergarten. Children have fun learning through play, making long lasting friendships, and acquiring kindness and empathy towards their peers.
