Led by industry veterans, Michael Collins, Gerald Flowers and Rusty Harling, The Works Floor & Wall is a third generation flooring and walls contractor and installer that provides general building construction and remodeling services for residential homes, business buildings, hospitals, club houses, schools, casinos and other commercial properties. Serving the entire Palm Springs, Palm Desert, Indio, Rancho Mirage and Coachella Valley area as well as most of Southern California, we take great pride in providing the highest quality construction, service and integrity on every project. Jerry, Rusty and Mike are master journeyman installers of most floor covering products and also have a vast knowledge of general construction as well as many exotic floor covering and custom products. This has allowed them to stay hands-on in all aspects of the company and has allowed them to personally train many of their installers, some who have now worked for The Works for just as long. After spending nearly thirty years in the flooring business, working on their own individual jobs, Jerry, Rusty and Mike joined forces to work together on the larger more complicated jobs, they have become masters of their trade. Eventually, it became clear that they should permanently pool all of their individual resources to incorporate and start building their own business and design center. So, that's what they did. What makes The Works unique? Our People. The Works has been servicing the Southern California, floor-covering industry since the 1960s, fulfilling roles as contractors, journeyman and master-mechanics as well as estimator's supervisors, specifiers and business owners. Many of us are the result of second, third and fourth generation experience We hold C-15, C-54 and B licenses, which we have earned through experience, in addition to ongoing education, seminars and certifications. Rusty has crossed trade boundaries and gained an extensive background in all aspects of construction and General Contracting, but we are not alone in our endeavors to build a unique and complete flooring-covering, design-center and installation service company. Our team consists of many other knowledgeable experts who we feel represent some of the greatest assets of this company.
