A great neighborhood hang out. Lots of friendly people. Very well lit. Good drinks at good prices. And the barmaid Kat is cute too.

I don't frequent bars very much (I have a good bar at home), but the Tropics has been remodeled and it has a nice friendly atmosphere. They have a nice selection of beers on tap at good prices.
