History

Chef Amber Caudle spent her early culinary formative years studying and cooking in Colorado, Napa Valley, Italy and Spain. Chef Amber then brought her culinary vision to Los Angeles where she took her place as Executive Chef of Mediterraneo. In 2012, Chef Amber was ready to take the next step in her life's journey ...realizing her dream of creating a cafe of her own. Chef Amber envisioned and brought to life the the SOURCE CAFE at the beach. Her belief in the rejuvenating and restorative power of fresh, whole, nutritious foods has made her unique artisanal foods cafe a focal point of the Hermosa Beach and larger South Bay community.

Each of our menu items is made in house, with love. We call it... The Art of Nourishment. The SOURCE CAFE at the beach team happily dedicates themselves to providing our guests with the absolute freshest, healthiest and locally sourced dishes each day. In addition to our freshly made salads, soups, paninis, wraps, smoothies and juices, the SOURCE CAFE at the beach lovingly prepares and serves a variety of specialty coffees and organic teas complemented by a selection of housemade, gluten free, paleo, vegan baked goods.
