I've taken classes here on and off for the last 6 years. Excellent teachers, super friendly students, and a helpful community. A really special place - I feel so lucky to have this studio nearby!

The Potters' Studio, established in 1971 in Berkeley, CA, is a community collaborative space dedicated to the art of ceramics. Founded by a group of potters, it offers workshops, classes, and demos, fostering a nurturing environment for individuals of all backgrounds to explore their creativity and learn the craft of pottery.
Under the leadership of Maija Williams, who served as studio manager for nearly 30 years, The Potters' Studio developed a unique ethos rooted in equality, inclusivity, and a deep appreciation for ceramics. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, it continues to provide a platform for artists and enthusiasts to engage in the rich tradition of pottery-making.
